New monument representing France and Canada’s long lasting friendship unveiled [fr]

The new monument representing France and Canada’s long lasting friendship was unveiled in Ottawa on October 16. It embodies more than 4 centuries of common history and more than 90 years of diplomatic relationship.

Two symbols ornate the monument located at the Birchwood cemetery : the Marianne for France and the Maple leaf for Canada.
