More than 66,000 Canadian soldiers died during WWI and 172,000 were wounded.
France will never forget.

As part of November’s Month of Remembrance, the Consul General of France in Vancouver and the Honorary Consuls of France in Western Canada paid tribute to the fallen soldiers who fought for the liberation of our country.

Consul General of France in Vancouver, Nicolas Baudouin, took part in the ceremonies held in Vancouver at the Victory Square along side politicians, members of the Consular corps and representatives of the French community. He then went to the event held in Chinatown.
