Where to apply?

Jurisdiction of the Consulate General

The Consulate General of France in Vancouver issues visas for applicants residing in:

Alberta British Columbia
North West Territories Saskatchewan
Yukon

In order to apply at a consulate in Canada, you need to hold at least one of the following documents:

- Canadian passport
- Permanent resident card
- Work permit
- Study permit
- Visitor record

Holders of visitor visas for Canada have to apply in their country of origin or residence.

- If you live in Manitoba and Ontario, please contact the Consulate General of France in Toronto.

- If you live in New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, please contact the Consulate General of France in Montreal

- If you live in the states of Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, Montana: please contact the Consulate General of France in San Francisco.
