Among them, many French professionals from all sectors involved in the development of digital technologies: Animation, video games, special effects, scientific and medical applications, artistic creation, etc. The French presence -estimated to 400 persons- was highlighted with a booth representing the business cluster Cap Digital, http://digitallyours.fr/siggraph-2011-vancouver/ certified by Ubifrance. Seven French animated films were included in the official selection of the SIGGRAPH Computer Animation Festival. Between 60 to 80 French researchers also attended the event, among them representatives of INRIA and Paris Tech.
