Supporting the Vimy Foundation in Vancouver [fr]

Consul General invited everyone to continue this duty to remember and turn them into practical projects. The next Paris Peace Forum held from November 11th to 13th, 2019 will enable us to do so.

On March 12th, Consul General took part in a presentation organized by the Vimy Foundation of color photographs from World War One gathered in a book, on the occasion of the Foundation’s Canadian Tour « Vimy Foundation First World War Centennial Speaker Series », held at the Vancouver Public Library.

In front of a full house, Consul General, Philippe Sutter, reminder the importance of our shared history and memories between France and Canada. The French people will never forget the brave and fallen Canadian soldiers who made Peace possible. After paying this hommage, here, as well as in France, and especially in 2018, Consul General invited everyone to continue this duty to remember and turn them into practical projects. The next Paris Peace Forum held from November 11th to 13th, 2019 will enable us to do so.
