Processing fees

1- Method of payment

DEBIT CARD (Interac) and CREDIT CARD only.

The processing fee must be paid upon submission of the application file, during the appointment at the consulate.

Please note: this fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, no matter what the issue of the application is. The payment of this fee does not guarantee that the visa will be issued.

Visas processed free of charge

- Children under the age of 6 (short stay visa only)

- Canada-France Youth Exchange Agreement Program visas

- The spouse and children (under 18 years old) of citizens of countries members of the European Union or the European Economic Area (proof of citizenship and of family ties such as birth/marriage certificates are requested) when they travel with the European citizen.

- Teachers of French language or literature recruited by the French Ministry of Education : "Arrêté Ministériel" with photocopy requested.

- Foreign language assistants holding a valid work contract for France : "Arrêté Ministériel" with photocopy requested.
