Goût de / GOOD France, the first global French gastronomic journey, in Vancouver
On Thursday, 19 March 2015, all around the world, restaurants offered more than 1,300 dinners to celebrate France’s gastronomy by inviting the public to share a “French dinner”.
Organized by Alain Ducasse and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, the event rendered homage to a vibrant, open and innovative cuisine, while remaining true to its values of sharing, pleasure, and respect for good food, and for the planet.
In Vancouver, Chef Michel Jacob has chosen to participate enthusiastically in the first Goût de / Good France. His famous and exquisite French restaurant Le Crocodile hosted the event on March 19th and proposed a multicourse dinner, specially concocted for the occasion.
- Foie gras crème brûlée
- Bisque de homard parfumé au Cognac
- Choucroute au poisson Velouté au Noilly Prat

The Consulate General of France in Vancouver graciously offered the champagne and the wines.
