Climate event at the French Alliance in Vancouver [fr]
On the occasion of the COP21 Conference taking place in Paris, the Alliance Française organizes a special evening dedicated to climate change, in partnership with the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre.
The event will consist in three parts:
- A digital exhibition of the best photos from the Fondation Alliance Française’s photo competition: "Climate, state of emergency", projected on the auditorium’s walls
- Followed by a screening of the fascinating and thought-provoking documentary "Planète Glace: Groenland" (Eng sub.)
- Finally, a vibrant discussion with Eric Solomon, Director of Artic Programs at the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre, Philippe Tortell, Associate Professor at Peter Wall Institute for advanced studies, Deputy Mayor of Vancouver Andrea Reimer, and Jean-Christophe Fleury, General Consul of France in Vancouver will close the evening.
