B.C. Francophonie Day celebration at the Legislative Assembly (March 5) [fr]

On March 5, Consul General, Philippe Sutter, took part in the celebrations of Francophonie Day at the Legislative Assembly in Victoria, B.C., presided by Minister of Health and Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs, Adrian Dix.

Consul General was invited to speak and took this opportunity to highlight the vitality of the French language in the province, thanks to the support of the provincial government.

Following the ceremony, Philippe Sutter met with students from the Ecole Victor Brodeur, which boasts an education partnership with the French school district of Nantes.

He also took part in the 75th anniversary of Fédération des francophones de la Colombie-Britannique which has a vital role in the vitality of the French language in the province.
