European Union Film Festival (EUFF) (Nov 12-28) [fr]

The European Union Film Festival (EUFF) returns online, from November 12 to 28 for its 2021 edition. The festival brings cinephiles across Canada works from some of Europe’s top talent, including a number of North American film premieres.

The festival remains online this year and provides a unique opportunity to experience the rich cultures of each European Union Member State across Canada all from the comfort of one’s own home.
Films include women, BIPOC and LGBTQ2+ cinematographers work as well as a number of North American premieres.

Co-organizers are the Canadian Film Institute (CFI), The Cinematheque in Vancouver, and the European Union Film Festival of Toronto in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to Canada and the diplomatic missions of European Union Member States.

The movie representing France is Quentin Dupieux’s Mandibles.
It will be accessible Saturday November 27.

Audiences will have access to each film “live” online for a 48-hour period. This format allows for the time and opportunity to enjoy each work. All films are presented in their original languages with English, and in some cases, French subtitles.

Festival passes are $100 CAD, tickets are available for purchase at $12 CAD per ticket.
